Yes! The holiday cost will be reduced by £55 per person, per return transfer, or £30 one way if people are not requiring the transfer element.

Yes! Depending upon the arrival times, we can collect/deliver you as group from/to Moutiers train station, on your arrival or departure days, as part of the holiday cost.

Yes! You can store luggage in our ski rooms, prior to the chalets being cleaned and available at 16.00pm, in all our chalets.

Yes! You can store luggage in our ski rooms after our check out time of 10.00am, on departure day. All areas of the chalets, other than the ski rooms, are not accessible after the 10.00am check out, as the chalets are being cleaned for the next group of guestsarriving that day.

Only if pre-agreed in writing by the managing director. Normally, only the ski rooms are available for luggage storage and changing after 10.00am on departure day.

On your arrival day we change the water in the tub and clean the hot tubs ready for the next weeks, guests, as required by French law. The water in the tubs requires 24 hours in alpine temperatures to reheat to the required temperature for your use. The tub will be ready for your first après ski, on the first full day of your holiday so either Sunday or Monday afternoon but not on the arrival day / evening.

Within reason yes! In the case of heavy snow and flight delays we will endeavour to provide you with your first night’s meal’ up until around 10.00pm. After this time, the staff would still do a meet and greet with you and provide a shortened version of evening service.

Normally if you arrive after 20.00pm, on arrival day the mobile service would then fit and deliver your skis from 08.30am on the following morning, so you would not miss any ski time. On peak holiday weeks the mobile ski service provider may still choose to fit you after 20.00pm depending upon demands upon them that night and the following morning.

For those choosing the ski shop service option the shop normally closes at 19.30pm, and reopens at 08.30am, on weekends.

Yes! We prepare your ski passes prior to your arrival, so they are ready when you arrive at the chalet whilst you have a cuppa or a glass of wine and a slice of cake, after your airport transfer.

Yes! You will be informed in advance of any changes but in most instances, these are Tuesday and Thursdays

As part of the advertised website price we can provide shared minibus airport transfers from Geneva airport only.  For the transfer cost to be included in our package price your flight times must coincide with the times that our minibuses are arriving and departing at the airports for existing drop offs or pick ups.

All transfers included in your holiday prices are shared transfers not private transfers.

Our existing pick up and drop off times will be detailed with you in the booking process when you book.

Any transfer arrangements will be agreed by the Managing Director in the booking process and only after this agreement will The Freeride Republic Ltd be bound by this agreement.

Flights must land and depart between 10.30am and 14.00pm on Saturdays or Sundays for the inclusive shared transfer price quoted in our holiday price to be included.

If your flights land or take off outside of these times unless agreed by The Freeride Republic Ltd, a supplement will be incurred at the rate of a private transfer from the price of 396 euros per minibus seating 8 people one way on Saturdays and 374 euros on Sundays.

Alternative pick up / drop offs outside of these designated times will incur a cost to be absorbed by you the customer not the chalet company.

Alternative transfers with other carriers can be arranged through us from the price of 396 euros per 8 seater minibus one way.

Alternative shared seats in shared transfers outside of our designated times of 10.30am and 14.00pm can be purchased for 90.00 euros per person one way.

Groups with over 8 people on any booking will be included with other shared transfers with other chalet guests or transfer carriers.

Timings can be subject to change on any given transfer day.

Transfers from Lyon , Grenoble or Chambery would incur a supplement. Please email us for a personalised quote for those airports in the booking process.

Resort Transportation Meribel Guests

If you are staying at Chalet Himalaya in Meribel, the minibus ski shuttle service is operated in the mornings and afternoons to central Meribel on 5 days of your 7 day stay.

The staff will operate two minibus shuttle runs straight after breakfast time typically at 9.00am down to either the Chaudanne meeting area in Meribel Centre (a two – three minute trip) or to the Morel ski lift ((a two – three minute trip)

When the staff start at work again at 17.30pm for their evenings shift, they will offer two minibus runs back to the chalet from the Chaudanne meeting area in Meribel Centre at that time.

After 6pm the staff will be preparing your evening meal and will not be available after that time.

If guests require transportation outside of any of these times, then guests can use the free ski bus back to the chalet which runs every 15 minutes in peak season times. The ski bus drops guests a 50 metre walk from the chalet.

This minibus shuttle service is offered on 5 days of your 7 day stay.

Typically, the chalet minibus shuttle service is not available to you on Tuesday afternoons which is the semi catered chalet day off, the full chalet day off on Thursday and the morning of chalet shopping day which is typically Friday.

The chalet staff will communicate the transport arrangements with you daily during your stay.

  • If you have booked your ski hire with another ski shop in Meribel which is not either of our recommended ski hire providers, we would not be able to provide transport to that shop in our minibus on either arrival or departure day.

Resort Transportation Meribel Guests

Arrivals & Departures

No! The 3 Valleys area is not connected by a bus service only by lift pass.

There is a free bus service between La Tania and the other Courchevel ski stations which runs every hour (with a break for lunch and runs less frequently at night) View the winter timetable here.

Yes! The Troika baby nursery slope area is free and beginners do not need a ski pass to use it.

Normally beginners do not require a lift pass on the first day of ski school, as they will be using the free beginner slopes in either La Tania or Courchevel 1850. After the first day, depending upon progress, beginners would need a pass as they graduate onto the blue and green slopes of La Tania and Courchevel. In most cases, your ski instructor will advise you when you require a lift pass, during your lessons.

Yes! As part of our service, we organise and deliver the passes to your chalet prior to your arrival in resort. Using your MyFreeride log in, send us a list of what lift passes you require, at the latest by the Tuesday prior to your departure. Please note, in our terms & conditions we do stipulate that you must book your lift pass through us, otherwise we do re-apply £15 per person, back onto the booking invoice.

Yes! You can pay in either cash or credit card.

Yes! You can pay for your ski pass in resort on either credit card or debit card. Please ask your chalet staff how.

Yes! You can pay in euros online using your MyFreeride log in, prior to departure, or email us for further details.

To qualify for the family ski pass, you must have two adults and a minimum of two under 18s, to form a minimum group of 4. With two adults, you can buy up to a further 5 passes for under 18, so 7 passes in total.

For the family lift pass we will need a names list and DOBs for every member of your group, in advance. Please add this to your booking notes using your MyFreeride log in, or email these details through, in the booking process

In all instances, when purchasing 6 day passes for our guests, we will provide you with the tribu ski pass rate, for either the 3 Valley or Courchevel ski passes.

The senior rate ski pass starts at 65 years of age.

We don’t offer ski guiding with our packages, as this is no longer permitted in France. Qualified ski guides can be booked through our affiliated ski schools.

Yes! The Aquamotion centre located in Courchevel 1650 is a great facility with a swimming pool / spa and with a well-being centre for adults. Entry on Saturdays is half price, which offers a great bad weather or final day option, for those departing on a Sunday or checking out on Saturdays. Food & Drink

Yes! Please add your dietary requirements using your MyFreeride log in, to your booking, or email us in the booking process. In some instances, there may be a small charge per person which we would discuss with you in the booking process.

Yes – we can provide an earlier sitting or a high tea for the kids in the chalet, from 18.30pm

Yes – we can provide simpler meal for the kids such as pastas, nuggets, pizzas, and fish fingers, etc. Alternatively, we can provide an earlier sitting of what the adults are eating later. Please add your children’s food requirements using your MyFreeride log in, to your booking, or email us in the booking process.

A selection of teas and fresh filter coffee. A continental breakfast served daily, along with fresh bread, cereals, muesli, and yogurts. A daily warm breakfast option is provided every morning, served along with porridge.

  • Tuesday – (Day off) – sausages, eggs, and hash browns – self service
  • Wednesday – bacon and pancakes
  • Thursday (Day off) – self-service continental breakfast with croissants

Our house bottled wine is served during dinner service normally between 19.30pm and 21.00pm. The allocation is two of bottle of red, two bottles of white and two bottles of rose per night per group on 6 nights of your stay. Also two bottles of wine are available during afternoon tea.

For any bookings with free packed lunches included, as an extra please note the lunches are only provided on 4 of the 6 catered days of your stay. Please note that the packed lunches are not provided for you on the chalet day off, or your final departure day.

The packed lunches can only be included if clearly stated as an inclusion on your booking invoice.

The free packed lunches consist of one medium-sized baguette with a designated daily filling, small bottle of water and a chocolate bar / piece of cake, per person. The Freeride Republic reserves the right to make any changes to the above.

Our chefs and chalet staff take two days off per week.

On one day of your week, typically Day 3, the staff will prepare an evening meal for you that clients will finish off cooking. See sample menu here for further details. On Day 5 typically no evening meal is provided. We will recommend a local restaurant or book one for you in advance in the booking process.

There will be two mornings during the week where breakfast is provided on a self-service basis. One of these will be a cooked option which the staff will prepare in advance for clients to cook themselves.

Any other catered aspects of the 6-day catered package including wine, cordials and packed lunches are not provided on the two chalet days off.

On any departure day from your chalet, we serve a continental breakfast only and not a cooked breakfast.

Breakfast is normally served between 08.00am – 09.00am

Dinner is normally served at 19.30pm. Due to french employment laws regarding staff weekly working hours, we cannot start dinner any later than this. If some guests arrive late for dinner, we do have to start without you!
