John and Lyn, from Edinburgh, are fresh from their 9th season on board their 42′ sailing yacht, Nera. Based in Split, Croatia, they offer catered day sails to guests, visiting the neighbouring islands, and serving drinks, canapés and lunch.
Before starting this venture, Lyn was a director of a marketing and design agency, in Edinburgh and John worked in the investment industry, before creating a more rewarding career as a self-employed caterer for all types of events.
John and Lyn are returning, as chalet hosts, for a 7th season with the Freeride Republic, and look forward to welcoming you to resort. They work well as a team, bringing an easy-going approach with attention to detail.
John and Lyn are keen skiers, despite John learning in Scotland! They are, once again, excited to swap the azure blue seas of the Adriatic for the azure blue skies of the Alps.
