In light of the coronavirus pandemic, any deposits paid for bookings for Winter 2020 / 2021 will be fully refundable up in accordance with this clause.

In the event of your cancelling your Winter 2020/2021 booking on or prior to 31st September 2020 as a direct result of UK Foreign Office advice against non-essential travel to France and/or restrictions imposed by the UK and/or French governments due to coronavirus which mean you cannot take your holiday, we will refund in full the deposits you have paid us for that booking.

To secure a booking prior an initial fully refundable deposit of £50.00 per booking is required with a second deposit of £450.00 per booking being payable 12 weeks prior to your departure date. Any final balance would be due 4 weeks prior to departure.

In the case of the coronavirus pandemic travel restrictions continuing after December 2020, we reserve the right to make any changes to the above COVID19 cancellations or deposits policy as we consider appropriate.

All holiday payments made to The Freeride Republic are fully protected by supplier failure insurance and placed in an independent trust account scheme through PTS Protected Services.

If UK or French governments impose any travel restrictions or resort / business / airport closures that prevent all guests on a booking from travelling to the chalet accommodation booked by the party leader or prevent The Freeride Republic from operating the chalet, we will offer a full refund up to one week prior to your arrival and an 80% refund up to your day of arrival.

This COVID19 refund policy does not cover inability to travel due to personal illness or mandatory or voluntary quarantine or self-isolation when UK government and FCO advice permits non-essential travel and stay in France for the purposes of your holiday with the Freeride Republic.

If the resort and services such as lifts are not operating due to restrictions applied by the French authorities, we will inform the party leader, as soon as practically possible, on the email address which is registered with us. Providing we are able to operate your chalet; the non-operation of the resort and resort services will not constitute the cancellation of your booking by us or inability on our part to perform our contracted services. You will not be entitled to cancel without paying our normal cancellation charges in this situation.
